General Information: Sundance Saloon Online Live
Sundance Saloon presents Sunday night live-streaming lessons from 6:00 to 9:00 pm PDT during the coronavirus shutdown! The general format is as follows, and subject to modification:
6:00 pm - beginning line dance lesson
7:00 pm - intermediate line dance lesson
8:00 pm - review of the previous week's intermediate line dance
8:15 pm - line dance mini-marathon
The beginning level line dance lesson is aimed at complete novices who have never line dances before.
We recommend creating a clear space of 10 x 10 feet if you can, or a minimum of 6 x 6 feet if you take tiny steps.
To participate with live commenting, you'll need to sign in with a gmail account.
Use a computer or tablet, and prop it up and position it in one place. Do not hold your viewing device in your hand, or you will not be oriented correctly for much of the dance. Even better, watch through your large-screen TV if you can.
The review of the previous week's line dance will be closer to a walk-through than an actual lesson. If you missed that week's lesson, you can still view the archived live-stream.
Donating To The Sundance Association
There is no fee for the live-stream lessons and dancing. However, we ask that you remember that our usual admission fee to Sundance Saloon is $7, and that this primary source of income is lost to us during this time. If you would like to donate, we have two different funds to consider:
COVID-19 Relief Fund - for donations intended to offset our losses during the coronavirus shutdown, ideal for that quick $7 donation.
