NOTE ABOUT 2-STEP STYLES
- SF-Style 2-Step refers to the SSQQ style of two-step (i.e. starting on the “slow” step) more common in the western US, incorporating moves that have a swing feel to them. Visitors accustomed to the QQSS or “progressive” style of two-step are especially encouraged to learn this style for easier mingling with the natives.
- Progressive-Style 2-Step refers to the QQSS style of two-step (i.e. starting on the “quick” step) most commonly seen in the US, but not generally practiced in LGBTQ clubs in California.
