Sundance Pride Gala Hoedown. Friday, June 27, 7:30 to 11:00 pm. Bayview Opera House, 3705 3rd St. near Oakdale. $20 in advance, $30 at the door.
Sundance Line Dance Corral. Saturday, June 28, 1:00 to 4:30 pm. Grove near Larkin.
Sundance Pride CW Dance Corral. Sunday, June 29, 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Grove near Larkin.
There is no dance on Sunday night.
The San Francisco Pride weekend is one of the biggest weekends of the year for Sundance Saloon. Dozens of volunteers are needed to produce our multiple events.

Special note to Sundance Saloon volunteers: The Sundance Saloon volunteer system is different and separate from our Sundance Special Event volunteer system. We suggest that you use the same User ID (e-mail address) and password for both systems.

Friday volunteers will receive comp admission to the Friday night dance. Saturday/Sunday/Monday volunteers will receive comp admission to a future Sundance Saloon night.

FRIDAY
Load-in (Friday afternoon)
Load truck. Requires: moving boxes and supplies, heavy lifting; likes playing Tetris.
Set-up Bayview Opera House (Friday afternoon)
Unload truck; set up decor, lights, front door, coat-check, and fans. Requires: moderate lifting; ability to follow directions; opposable thumbs
Front Door (Friday evening)
Handles front door entry and/or checks handstamps/wristbands Requires: money handling; welcoming demeanor; able to count
Coat-Check (Friday evening)
Check coats and bags. Requires: money handling; plays well with coat-hangers; understands ordinal numbers
Tear-down Bayview Opera House (Friday night)
Disassemble our materials and load into truck. Requires: heavy lifting; legs still working after dancing; can follow directions.
SATURDAY
Set-up Civic Center (Saturday noon)
Set up sound systen, rearrange furniture, display banners and posters.
Note: We do not build our own dance floor at this event. Saturday's set-up is more limited than Sunday's. Requires: possible heavy lifting; creativity helpful; flexibility
Tear-down Civic Center (Saturday afternoon)
Disassemble our materials and cart everything back to our hotel. Requires: light lifting; legs still working after dancing; ability to follow directions
SUNDAY / MONDAY
Set-up Civic Center (Sunday morning)
Set up boot-check and sound system, rearrange furniture, display banners and posters.
Note: We do not build our own dance floor at this event. Requires: possible heavy lifting; creativity helpful; flexibility
Wrangler (Sunday afternoon)
Hand out flyers, promote Sundance Saloon Requires: friendly and outgoing demeanor; good communication skills; need cross-sectional representation
Tear-down Civic Center (Sunday evening)
Disassemble our materials and cart everything back to the truck. Requires: light lifting; legs still working after dancing; ability to follow directions
Load-out (Monday morning)
Unload truck at storage in Noe Valley Requires: heavy lifting; moving boxes around; some organizational skills
